They constantly shift between multiple roles in life, shouldering diverse responsibilities while radiating irreplaceable strength. Their sweat and perseverance need no external validation—they are gentle yet formidable.
They exist among us all, whether vibrant with youth, wise with composure, or bold with unbridled passion… Filled with infinite possibilities, they uphold half the sky at Vich.
For this spring edition of Vich People, our “Cover Story” features six outstanding women from within the company. Through their narratives, we explore the essence of “Her Power” and, in their stories, encounter more versions of “her” to reflect on our better selves.
The Power of Belief
Chen Ying – Finance Center
Chen Ying joined Vich in April 2006, primarily responsible for financial accounting and departmental management. Colleagues affectionately call her “Teacher Chen.”
Her first impression? A neat, slightly curled bob, exuding energy and efficiency. When asked about the boldest thing she’s ever done, Chen Ying recalls rock climbing. “Rock climbing is challenging and thrilling—it demands physical strength, balance, and mental resilience, much like work. It takes teamwork, mutual support, and encouragement to overcome obstacles and reach the summit.”
Over her 18 years at Vich, Chen Ying has embodied excellence—“Master what you do, and leave no room for error”—proving that even an ordinary finance professional can achieve extraordinary things. These years have granted her career stability, professional growth, leadership experience, personal fulfillment, and accumulated wisdom. “These gains have not only laid a solid foundation for my growth but also added color and value to my life.”
Everything begins with belief. Positive self-affirmation is crucial, and Chen Ying practices this daily. She encourages fellow women: “Believe in your capabilities and worth. Pursue your dreams, face challenges bravely, and overcome them. You all possess unique talents and potential—leverage your strengths, and you will shine in your career. Trust that you can!”
One Flower Doesn’t Make Spring; A Hundred Blossoms Bring the Garden to Life
Xiao Lingchun – Marketing Center
This marks Xiao Lingchun’s 18th year at Vich—a rare journey of growing alongside the company. Today, she focuses on client development and product sales.
When she first joined, Xiao was an ordinary office clerk handling routine sales support tasks. Yet, this humble start allowed her to deeply understand the company’s operations. Over time, she explored various roles—sales, procurement, even finance—each adding invaluable experience that paved her way to becoming a top sales leader. Now, as a seasoned Sales Director, she leads an entire team, a testament to her perseverance and the company’s faith in her.
“A company’s success isn’t built on individual brilliance but on collective effort. Though the road ahead may be tough, I believe we’ll brave the storms and sail far.”
Habits Transform Us Through Daily Persistence
Tao Changjing – Administration Center
Tao Changjing has worked at Vich for nearly seven years, managing general administration, government project applications, and assisting in the construction of Vich Building. Colleagues warmly call her “Sister Tao.”
Tao was drawn to Vich’s culture—its energy, warmth, and boundless creativity. Since joining, she embraced a fast-paced workflow that sharpened her professional skills, communication abilities, and overall competence.
“Success requires both tackling tough projects to unlock potential and daily perseverance,” Tao explained. From morning meetings and slogan-chanting to distributing books, organizing “Fan Deng Reading Club” sessions, and attending “Jianfeng Training Programs,” she cultivated habits of continuous learning and self-improvement. “These practices even influence how I parent—I apply similar methods to communicate with my child, creating an upward spiral of fulfillment in both work and life.”
Inner Drive Powers Progress
Xie Qiong – HR & Supply Center
Xie Qiong joined Vich in October 2022 and now serves as Director of the HR and Administration Centers.
To Xie, Vich exemplifies modern management—with clear strategic goals, self-driven teams, and an esteemed brand reputation. Here, she and her team have repeatedly turned the impossible into reality.
Xie recalled the strategic centralized procurement project—a monumental challenge. “We knew conquering this ‘mountain’ would accelerate progress and unlock market opportunities,” she said. Through data analysis, supply strategy mapping, sourcing, capacity audits, price comparisons, sampling, technical approvals, negotiations, and market analysis, her team executed the plan within 90 days and integrated results into ERP systems. “This achievement streamlined future deliveries and amplified market feedback.”
The source of drive is not the desire for external validation but the mission to “pursue one’s best self.” Xie Qiong, First in Her Field
