The 14th Smart City and Intelligent Economy Expo took place from September 6-8 at the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center. Co-hosted by the Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the China Electronics and Information Industry Development Institute, as well as leading telecom providers such as China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom, the event attracted attention from across industries.
Vichnet showcased its intelligent safety protection systems and cable management solutions at its 88-square-meter booth, drawing the spotlight at the expo. In addition, Vichnet participated in a collaborative exhibition in the Machine Processing Line Zone, where visitors experienced firsthand how Vichnet’s intelligent safety products operate in real-world industrial settings.
During the AI-Empowered Industry Pavilion event, Vichnet’s Vice General Manager, Ms. Ying Luyao, delivered a keynote speech titled “How Intelligent Technology Empowers Typical Safety Scenarios in Manufacturing.” In her speech, Ms. Ying highlighted three key areas:
- The role of standard development and industry-academia-research collaboration in upgrading traditional products into intelligent safety solutions.
- The importance of industry segmentation and customer-driven innovation in accelerating the adoption of intelligent safety applications.
- The benefits of standardization in promoting the industrialization of intelligent safety solutions.
Vichnet’s outstanding contributions did not go unnoticed—during the expo, the company was honored with the prestigious “AI + Manufacturing Ecosystem Outstanding Brand Enterprise” award for 2024, reinforcing its leadership in intelligent safety and manufacturing innovation.
